Linked Up! Timely Conversations Between Parents & HMS Staff

Linked Up! – Tuesday, December 5 at 9:30am in HMS Media Center Middle school can be a challenging time for kids. The truth is, it can be challenging for parents, too. Our kids tell us less, but, in some ways, need us more as they face new situations and gain independence. On Tuesday, December 5 at 9:30 in the HMS Media Center, the HMS Guidance Staff will lead discussions about what tweens and teens are dealing with and how we, as parents, can best support them. The topics will include:

• Navigating Middle School: Homework, Organization and Time Management
• Adolescence: Social Pressure, Growth Mindset, and Strategies for Resiliency
• Social media update: Apps every parent should know about
