PTO Praises Community Members

As chairs of the 51st annual Hudson PTO pancake breakfast, we would like to thank the  community for its support of the March 1 event.

More than 2,700 people enjoyed the breakfast, entertainment and displays, including the Hudson Schools' history room.
 
We thank all those whose support and hard work made this event run smoothly: more than 150 volunteers, including parents, teachers, administrators, School Board members and high school students; Bruce Hubach, Bistra Vizmeg and the food service staff; and Joe Salamon and the high school custodial staff. We thank the Boy Scouts: Troop 321 for directing parking and Troop 333 for helping with games. We thank Girl Scout Troops 299, 901, 1004, and 1157 for overseeing children's games. Thanks also to the high school football players who helped clean up, and the PTO committee members whose planning and preparation made the breakfast an overwhelming success. 

The PTO gratefully acknowledges the prize and product donors. Our fundraiser would not be a success without all our supporters, including the many Hudson and other area businesses that traditionally contribute to this community event.

We thank Sheryl Sheatzley, district communications manager, and the Alumni Association for organizing the Hudson Schools history display.

Thanks to Jon C. Lund, designer of this year's delightful poster, and Printer's Devil for printing the poster, table tents, and tickets.

We also thank Bill Hammerstrom and the Hudson Hub-Times for assisting us in publicizing the breakfast. We are fortunate to have such a supportive community newspaper.

All money raised from ticket sales, raffles, spirit wear sales and games go back into the schools through the many programs sponsored by Hudson PTO. The breakfast was a community effort that will benefit every Hudson student.
