The Hudson Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) will award the Teacher of the Year award to two teachers that exemplify excellence in creativity, innovation, and initiative. This award recognizes individuals that have energized the educational community through their contributions both in and out of school. One award will be given to an educator in pre-K through fifth grades, and another will be given to an educator in grades 6-12.
Each recipient of the award will receive a check for $500 and a plaque in recognition of his/her contributions to the Hudson City Schools. Recipients are also recognized on a larger plaque kept at the Board of Education office.
To be eligible, nominees must have been employed by the Hudson School district for a minimum of one full school year.
Nominations will be accepted from staff members, parents, students, or any other member of the Hudson educational community.
Elementary Educator- Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 5
Secondary Educator - Grades 6-12
